Signs can be effective! And signs don't stop working until you take the sign down. So it is important to remove un-needed or old signs when services are terminated. Always a good idea the provide sign information if store has moved or services stopped.
If you had a genuine emergency and came in one of the unmarked emergency driveways, you may be unaware and surprised that the hospital is closed when you walk through the doors. Hospital closed 6 months ago .. moved 5 miles away.
Emergency staff are on hand to assist and to redirect you to the new hospital.
It would be better to take down the sign face down?
Providing directional instructions, especially a map, on how to get to the new hospital would be helpful.
